Our client is a leading furniture manufacturer known for their high-quality craftsmanship and commitment to excellence. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a motivated and reliable Sprayshop Assistant to join their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced and creative environment.
The role:
As a Sprayshop Assistant, you’ll work closely with the spray finishers and production staff to ensure the smooth operation of our sprayshop. From prepping furniture to maintaining equipment and supporting finishing processes, your role is key to delivering beautiful, high-quality products to customers.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist with the preparation of furniture for spray finishing (e.g. sanding, masking, cleaning)
2. Help organise paints, lacquers, and stains for the correct projects
3. Support the spray team with moving and handling items safely
4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the sprayshop
5. Carry out basic maintenance on spray equipment and tools
6. Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards
What they're looking for:
7. Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment (experience in a sprayshop is a bonus)
8. A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering quality work
9. Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
10. Physically fit – this role involves manual handling
11. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Desirable but not essential:
12. Experience in spray painting or wood finishing
13. Knowledge of spray equipment and finishing materials

Schedule:
18. Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour day with half hour lunchbreak (7:30am-4:00PM)
19. Overtime/Saturdays (not guaranteed but often available)
