Rates of pay Basic: £12.64 per hour Saturday: £14.60 per hour Sunday: £16.57 per hour Hours of work Hours of work 28 per week (negotiable) 8am till 2/2.30 pm 2/2.30pm till 7.30pm Report to: Catering supervisor, Manager and Care Leader Main Duties: Plan and cook nutritional, balanced meals To ensure the meals are appetizingly presented To monitor intake of food for individual Brothers you are unwell and report to care staff To meet all dietary needs Ensure confidentiality is always maintained Administration: Ensure food is stored and cooked in accordance with Environmental Health Regulations Check the quality of food delivered to the kitchen Stock rotation of all foods To maintain all records as required on a day-to-day basis To read and adhere to all Policies and Procedures Maintenance: Ensure that all areas of the kitchen including all storage areas are kept meticulously clean and tidy Ensure all repairs /Health and Safety requirements are reported to the Manager and Maintenance Person To ensure the kitchen is closed at the end of the shift. Ensuring all appliances, gas and electric are turned off Other Duties: To cover sickness and annual leave To attend all staff training and staff meetings
