YMCA Heart of England have a new exciting opportunity for a PA to CEO & Governance Coordinator to join our team based in Erdington, Birmingham. The successful candidate will join us on a fixed term contract 6-12 Months, Maternity Cover basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £29,433.53 per annum.

About the PA to CEO & Governance Coordinator role:
The purpose of this role is to ensure an effective and efficient clerical and administration service is provided to the Chief Executive Officer and, as required, to the Chair of trustees. This role requires the maintenance of appropriate governance records within the association including minutes, agenda and associated papers for Board and committee meetings and the annual governance meeting. Governance compliance and arrangements regarding timely and efficient reporting is also an essential part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide clerical and administrative support to the CEO and Chair of trustees.
2. Maintain governance records including minutes and agendas.
3. Ensure compliance with governance policies and procedures.
4. Coordinate timely reporting for Board and committee meetings.
Qualifications and Skills:
We are seeking a skilled individual with experience of working with trustees and dealing with regulators and statutory bodies, with experience in governance policies and procedures. You will have knowledge and understanding of the Charity Commission and charity housing regulations body. You’ll share our passion for commitment to equality of opportunity in the provision of support services. The ideal candidate will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
