An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and ambitious Senior Marketing Executive who has experience in the electrical industry to join a market leading and fast growing manufacturer and distributor of well-established wiring, lighting and electrical accessories supplied into the electrical wholesale and retail DIY channels.
Working for a fast paced company, this opportunity would suit an experienced marketing professional that is looking to assist in executing the company’s marketing strategy to maximise the profile of its brands, customer loyalty and engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Head of Marketing, no one day will be the same for this Senior Marketing Executive. You'll be involved in multiple projects and campaigns, with responsibilities to include the following:
* Working closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver the marketing campaign calendar for various brands
* Creating and managing offline and online marketing campaigns that are pushed out via advertising and PR activities
* Assisting in content creation and management of websites, digital tools, etc
* Managing, planning and organising events, both small and large (national trade shows)
* Working with Sales teams to maximise exposure for all brands at Trade Counters nationwide
* Assist in the development of Social accounts to help grow engagement and followers
* Execution of the company’s digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms (website, social media, email, photography, video)
* Assist in the generation of all marketing collateral, ensuring it supports the company’s ethos and strategy, is aligned with brand guidelines, is unique, creative and concise
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Studies or CIM Qualification
* 3 to 5 years B2B marketing management experience
* Experience in the electrical industry
* Excellent communication, presentation, copywriting and editorial skills
* Attention to detail and a thorough and accurate approach to work
* Strong interpersonal and people management skills
* Customer focussed with the ability to build strong rapport
* Strong project management and problem solving skills
* Resourceful and lateral thinking with a proactive approach to tasks
* Ability to work effectively in a high pressure and deadline driven environment
* Drive, ambition and enthusiasm to deliver results and progress within the organisation
* Computer literate with strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills, and knowledge of the Adobe Suite
