Pelican Bus & Coach is the UK and Ireland importer and distributor for YUTONG Buses and Coaches. Based near Leeds, it is wholly owned by Pelican Engineering Co. Ltd which was established in 1919 and has traded continuously since that date. We are looking for an experienced ADMINISTRATOR, preferably with an automotive or transport-related background although excellent admin skills are the main priority.
The Role:
We are looking for a Sales Administrator to work with our friendly existing team. You will assist with maintaining and updating sales records and stock, and accurately monitoring the ongoing sales processes. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in a sales or transport environment (this is not essential) and have exceptional attention to detail as well as a level of understanding regarding sales administration processes. You will need excellent time management skills. Full training on Pelican processes, the company's products, and the job role will be given.
Responsibilities will include:
* Manage stock list
* Uploading vehicles to RAV system
* Taxing vehicles from RAV and allocating registration numbers
* Submitting documents to DVSA for technical data file creation
* General administration duties
* General driving duties between sites only (not essential)
* Management account system knowledge POWER (not essential as will be trained)
* Generating PO’s for workshop and third parties
* Liaising with customers and finance companies
* Handover packs and key sorting
* Logistics of moving vehicles around the U.K. and Ireland
* Dealing with sales team day-to-day issues
* Sending deposit receipts and raising invoices

Hours of Work:
* Full time and permanent: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 08.30 and 5pm.
