Job summary IntraHealth are recruiting a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our Pharmacy at our William Brown Centre in Peterlee. This position will requires candidates to have their own transport as travel between each of the Pharmacies may be required if and when necessary. The successful candidate will be an exceptional team player with good communication and interpersonal skills who is enthusiastic and committed to join our Pharmacy group. Ideally, applicants will have previous experience in working within a pharmacy as a dispensing assistant. The successful applicant for this post will be joining us at a particularly exciting time as we develop and expand our service. Main duties of the job To work as a Community Pharmacy Dispenser, to provide an efficient and safe pharmaceutical service. To provide advice and support to patients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patients care. To act under the direction of the pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager. To assist in the delivery of all Essential, advanced and essential services within the Community Pharmacy. To assist in the delivery of all Local services offered by the pharmacy, which have been commission by the PCT (or successor organisations) To maintain appropriate stock levels of all items in the pharmacy.
