You will be an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who will join our expanding, forward thinking and highly regarded Therapy team working within Urgent Care, Acute Medicine or at our new healthcare setting, Spinneyfields Step-down Unit in Rushden. You will be working collaboratively with the wider MDT within the Acute Medicine team and will have the opportunity to work in one of the core areas of urgent care, acute medicine or rehabilitation at the step-down unit; alternatively we can offer the opportunity to rotate across all 3 areas on a yearly basis. We have a variety of opportunities for you to develop your leadership skills including bespoke leadership training, mentoring, coaching as well as weekly speciality training. Main duties of the job The post holder will be an experienced therapist who will act as an advanced specialist within the Acute Medicine Team and have experience working in the acute or rehabilitation setting. You will provide leadership, support and supervision to other team members and be involved in the training, preceptorship and competencies of more junior team members and support staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting clinical excellence and evidence based practice.
