Area Sales Manager – Northwest Established over 30 years ago, our client is a market-leading service provider & product supplier for the construction industry. Working with some of the largest construction & civil engineering businesses across the UK, they are now looking for a Area Sales Manager to join their UK team. Since their establishment, they have seen continued growth and now turnover circa £20M; they pride themselves on their first-class quality service and are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the North of England. This is a field based opportunity, with candidates ideally being based in Liverpool or Manchester area. Responsibilities Manage an existing set of client accounts as well as conducting a range of new business activities across the defined territory Develop long-term relationships with both existing customers & prospective accounts Develop & execute effective sales strategies to boost revenue across designated territory Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Marketing, Customer Service) to optimize service provision & build lasting relationships Provide regular reporting & data analysis to leadership teams Utilize customer feedback to improve services and product offering Create a long-term sales pipeline to ensure success of the territory, in line with company revenue targets Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends & competitor activity The Successful Candidate 3 years field sales experience Experience selling into the Construction industry or Civil Engineering businesses is essential A background in plant hire would be a plus Full UK driving license required Ideally based in Liverpool or Manchester areas Area Sales Manager Package Basic salary: £40,000-45,000 OTE: £20,000 (uncapped) Company car or car allowance options Laptop & mobile phone provided Pension options 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
