We're currently recruiting for a Sectors and Communities Manager on a full-time, 6 month fixed-term contract to support the team in supporting our members within the Public & Health sectors. We are flexible on the location of this role as we operate a 'digital-first' approach. The Job Identify new opportunities to enhance member value by gathering market knowledge and insight from different communities and activities. Feed back into the business to support prioritised improvement of the Member Value Proposition and customer experience. Initiates, supports, and nurtures the Public and Health communities at ACCA whether ACCA or peer led adopting a digital first approach that delivers tangible value to members including an engagement plan for the Sectors. Supports the Public & Health Community panels to ensure key advocates are within that are motivated, engaged, and visible in the sector. Collaborates with agreed partners and works with new partners to strengthen the value proposition by utilising the expertise in building on the recognition of the ACCA brand in the sectors on behalf of members. Captures insight to obtain opportunities and/or challenges facing members and looking for ways to leverage advocacy led communities to offer support e.g. maximising global content, expand the offer to support the members in the sector, ensure a dedicated page represent the offering, engaging with members through content led virtual events, direct outreach to members, building relationship with members. Works with the Policy and Insights team to amplify global reports ensuring UK representation and growth of resources created to support the Sector, continually gaining feedback and input from members to maximise the research. Works with the BD team to integrate sector plans with employer BD plans to demonstrate to employers the added value of ACCA membership, to leverage advocacy and grow the community and develop high impact employability interventions e.g. Virtual Careers Fairs. Supports the Sector & Communities Lead to identify and deliver activities for senior level ACCA members with aligned interests to policy development, regulatory or contemporary topics driven by member interests. Identify new opportunities to enhance member value by gathering market knowledge and insight from different communities and activities. Feed back into the business to support prioritised improvement of the Member Value Proposition and customer experience. The Person Experience ofbuilding and sustaining effective communities & relationships Experience of developing and delivering digital events and meetings Knowledge of MS Teams, conferencing platforms and social media platforms Experience of working with and managing volunteersto build community Knowledge and interest in the accounting and finance sector and current affairs Knowledge and interest in skills and career development Proactive and innovative in finding solutions to the support priority needs of members informed by insight Confident and clear oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally Strong organisational skills to deal with a wide variety of tasks, projects and issues simultaneously whilst working to deadlines Strong written skills to produce good quality marketing/social copy, reports and agendas Negotiating and securing sponsorshipexperience would be desirable Experience of working within the Public & Health Sectors would be desirable.
