Requirements For this role it is desirable that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum; BTEC certificate or comparable certification Electrician qualification (level 2 as a minimum)It is also essential that you hold the experience below; Full UK driving licence Previous experience of operating in as a Maintenance Technician or similar position Proven background of working across various trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenanceAdditional skills; Excellent communication abilities, written and verbal Efficient troubleshooting and problem resolution abilities Capability to collaborate efficiently with other maintenance staff and various departments Proficiency in various trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance Competent time-management abilities, with the efficiency of meeting deadlines on-time to high standard A comprehensive understanding of safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment In-depth understanding of equipment, machinery, and systems across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC fieldsThe Role Job Title: Maintenance Technician and Driver Job Type: Permanent Location: London (Tottenham) Reporting to: Maintenance SupervisorDuties Conduct proactive assessments and maintenance Oversee the secure transport and handling of artwork Support the installation and movement of artwork and furniture Implement planned preventive maintenance across all company locations Carry out vehicle maintenance, managing delivery and collection tasks efficiently Support the installation and setup of new machinery, tools, or equipment as necessary Perform risk assessments to identify health and safety hazards, evaluate potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them Execute planned inspections and maintenance to keep machinery, equipment, and systems operating at peak efficiency Troubleshoot and repair faulty machinery, equipment, or systems, resolving issues related to mechanics, electricity, or plumbing Confirm that all maintenance work follows safety protocols, regulations and aligns with company industry standards Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements, ensuring records are regularly updated and accessible Handle general maintenance duties, including HVAC maintenance, lighting fixes, and ensuring work areas are tidy and well-organised Coordinate with other teams and departments, delivering technical support to efficiently solve operational problems This is a permanent position with an excellent salary on offer for the successful candidate.
