Salary: £24,000 - £28,647 per annum
As part of a ground-breaking and transformational partnership with Mitie Care & Custody and People Plus, Forward Trust has been successful in its bid to be a top table delivery partner in the operation of HMP Millsike, a brand-new Resettlement Prison due to open in April 2025.
This represents a chance for Forward Trust to evolve its mission in a way that will be integral to a new way of delivering prisons within the system.
Forward Trust is a social justice charity that helps thousands of people recover from addiction and mental health problems, leave behind crime, find jobs, homes, and a sense of belonging. We campaign to change public attitudes and policy so that people can access support that transforms lives.
At HMP Millsike, we will be delivering Connections Services, a suite of interventions for men in recovery, their families, and children of men in custody. For the first time in prison history, Forward Trust will run the entire Visits programme on behalf of the prison.
What you will be doing:
1. Support HMP Millsike's Reducing Reoffending strategy.
2. Work closely with Residence and Wellbeing, Practice Plus, Tees Weir Valley Health, and People Plus.
3. Deliver Forward Trust's innovative 'One Millsike' offer.
4. Support the mobilisation and delivery of Forward Trust interventions.
