Our client, a growing company who specialise in the audio/visual world, are looking for an AV Engineer to join their team. The role of the AV Engineer primarily involves on-site work, including 1st and 2nd fix installations, commissioning, and user training. Some pre-configuration tasks will also be performed at our office.
Key Responsibilities for the AV Engineer:
1. On-site work: 1st and 2nd fix installations, commissioning, and user training
2. Pre-configuration tasks at the office
3. Travel to various client locations as required, mainly in London with occasional trips across England
4. Wall/ceiling mounting of displays, cameras, and speakers
5. 1st Fix cabling
6. Maintaining good written and verbal communication
7. Working within corporate Audio-Visual installations
Essential Skills of the AV Engineer:
8. Installing and configuring MS Teams and Zoom systems (Logitech/Yealink/Poly/Crestron)
Desired skills of the AV Engineer:
9. Proficiency with Shure, Q-SYS, and Dante systems
10. Strong networking skills
11. Solid understanding of AV systems and networking
12. Proven experience in a corporate/office Audio Visual environment
Requirements for the AV Engineer role:
13. Located within a commutable distance of Southeast London
14. A deep interest and expertise in audio-visual systems, technologies, and equipment
