Who You Are You are a dedicated and trustworthy individual with strong communication skills, both in English and preferably in Welsh. You have relevant vocational experience or a Level 1 qualification in line with the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. With basic IT and administrative skills, you are able to log on to systems, complete documentation, and navigate software efficiently. You can work independently and are capable of handling physical work and emergency situations responsibly. You either hold or are willing to obtain a Licence to Practice from the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS). What the Job Involves As a Cleaning Officer, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the Coed Pella Offices. You will undertake various cleaning duties individually or as part of a team, as directed by the Facilities Management Building Coordinator. Your role includes ensuring cleaning processes meet required standards, replenishing supplies, maintaining equipment, reporting defects, and carrying out basic administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for unlocking and locking the buildings as needed. Upholding the Authority's Health & Safety practices, compliance policies, and safeguarding principles is essential in this role.
