In this fast paced and dynamic role, you will work across the academic and professional services portfolios, and across all areas of spend.
You will have a strong background in procurement, with technical procurement experience across a variety of category areas. Your sound understanding of procurement will enable you to provide a high level of specialist advice & direction.
The role encompasses:
1. developing and delivering procurement strategies across all category areas and spend management
2. developing strong working relationships across multiple disciplines in both professional services and academic areas
3. managing key stakeholders
4. analysing data and presenting reports to senior stakeholders
5. using planning techniques and risk management competencies
6. developing option appraisals and creating commercial recommendations
