A leading shipping and automotive haulier are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their reputable and growing team in Kettering. This role involves servicing and maintaining a large fleet of HGV trucks from various manufacturers across all weight categories. Monday to Friday 08:18:00pm(Saturday OT available) Industry: Heavy Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Salary Circa £45,000pa Company Van Role Overview Conduct routine Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) and servicing of heavy commercial vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently. Work on both company owned and third party vehicles. Ensure all work is completed to legal and safety standards. Complete service records and documentation accurately. Work independently and unsupervised while maintaining high service standards. Liaise with fleet managers and customers to provide updates on vehicle status. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. What I am looking for : Fully experienced in HGV Servicing and Maintenance. NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent qualification desirable. Strong HGV diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to confidently troubleshoot issues.
