The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating various Engineer Routes and ensuring smooth operations within the office. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in administrative tasks. The Planner will be responsible for managing Technician schedules, maintaining records, and supporting the overall efficiency of the office environment. Good geographical knowledge would be beneficial. As well as working towards completing your Business and Administration SCQF level 6 Modern Apprenticeship Qualification, your will be trained to carry out the following\nâ¢\tDaily planning and operational management of the field engineer team by balancing inbound workload, managing customer expectations, and matching engineer capacity to optimise service levels for all planned and emergency work.\nâ¢\tIdentify improvement opportunities in capacity management whilst meeting customer Service Level Agreements.\nâ¢\tManage data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.\nâ¢\tWork closely with Field Technicians to develop great working relationships and manage /mitigate challenges they may face, listening to feedback on areas for Improvement\nâ¢\tManage / support Technicians working away .\nâ¢\tDaily operations â Mange the booking Diary and allocate work ensuring productivity is optimised to a high level, ensuring there is no white space and travel is minimal.\nâ¢\tCall customers and arrange for the booking to be agreed before allocation and update/collate all information on our bespoke claims management system.\nâ¢\tRespond to service escalations and use defined criteria to take immediate action .and communicate outcomes to customer and stakeholders.\nâ¢\tSupport Claims handlers with solutions to short notice escalations and customer contact calls.\nâ¢\tProvide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and team members.\nâ¢\tCollaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.\nâ¢\tMonitor engineer working hours, travel time and utilisation against agreed Key Performance Indicators.\nâ¢\tAd hoc duties\n You should be educated to National 5 Maths and English or similar \nâ¢\tHave worked in a previous planning role or have an interest in a Resource Planning role .\nâ¢\tHave a great work Ethic\nâ¢\tDemonstrate good planning & organisational skills .\nâ¢\tAttention to detail excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.\nâ¢\tDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.\nâ¢\tA proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.\nâ¢\tHave attended college and have demonstrated the ability to study .\nâ¢\tIT / Systems literate.\nâ¢\tGeographical knowledge of Scotland including HNI would be advantageous.\nâ¢\tGreat Time management .\nâ¢\tStrong communication skills both written and verbal.\nâ¢\tEnjoy a challenge\nYou may not meet all the criteria for the role, but don't let that stop you from applying.
