The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will provide a technical engineering service with the minimum of supervision in respect of mechanical & electrical servicing, repairs, maintenance, supervision and installation.

Required Expertise:
* Driving license (full UK)
* Minimum 5 years experience in an electrical maintenance role.
* Minimum 2 years experience conducting EICRs.
* City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Regulations
* City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection and Test Or 2394 & 2395 Verification & inspection testing.
* Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, analogue and digital electronics.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and schematics.
* Working knowledge of BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
* Experience working on three phase equipment and systems.
* Experience of working on Generators, Switchboards and UPS systems.
* Towing and hooking up of temporary generators.
* Experience working as a LV AP.
The Role:
* Reporting directly to the team manager, the Power Systems Technician will be part of a multi-skilled team, covering service areas. Even though you are part of a team, you’ll be providing your individual contribution to this multi-skilled team providing day to day operational duties.
* To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works to meet our Customer SLA’s.
* To actively participate in 24/7 365 callout response as per the scheduled rota.
* To undertake contractor supervision duties as required, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
* To ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
* To ensure equipment is maintained to conform to agreed company standards.
* Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Arqiva SHEQ policy.
* Support upgrades and modifications to existing systems and networks following agreed instructions.
* Be willing to learn new transmission skills, with an option to train to climb to progress to climbing role.
* PC literate and able to maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken.
