Summary: Nijhuis Industries UK & Ireland are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to be responsible for quality and compliance across our UK business ensuring it is delivered according to agreed plans, and within budget. Travel to UK offices/ projects as required. Duties and Responsibility: Conduct regular audits of processes, ISO management systems & LCA (Legionella Control Association) systems, to identify areas for improvement. Provide support during internal and external QHSE audits. This could involve gathering necessary documents and coordinating with different departments. Administration of our portals including SafeContractor, Constructionline, Achilles CHAS etc. Communicate Quality policies, reports and updates to all staff through newsletters, emails or presentations & will include face-to-face communication with Stakeholders, Leadership Team, Management Team & Employees. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as identifying areas for improvement and helping to implement new procedures. This will include promoting initiatives such as 5S & Kai-Zen methodologies. Drive our Customer Satisfaction Surveys, promptly and professionally respond to Quality-related inquiries from employees, customers or regulatory bodies. Analyse Quality data to identify trends and areas for improvements using software tools to interpret data and create visual reports. Maintain and update out management systems documents, forms, reports & certificates. Ensuring all documents are in compliance with regulations and are easily accessible for audits. Assist in the development & implementation of emergency response procedures, this will involve coordinating drills and training sessions. Coordinate and schedule regular site quality inspections. Assist in documenting the results and follow up on any necessary corrective actions. Schedule and coordinate Quality meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items. Assist in the investigation of & root-cause analysis of any Quality non-conformances. Help to document the incident, the investigation process and the root-cause analysis. Track and report on Quality Department performance metrics such as maintaining databases and preparing regular reports. Assist in the development of & updating of Quality policies and procedures, researching best practices and drafting policies. Provide administrative support for Quality projects. This could involve scheduling meetings, tracking progress and communicating updates. Stay up to date with the latest ISO management systems & relevant regulations (including routine review of our Legal Register) & ensure that out business is complying. This could involve attending relevant training & seminars. Conduct research on Quality best practices & benchmarking across different industries. Prepare reports on your findings to share with the team. Support the team in conducting risk assessments, tasks could involve gathering data, documenting findings & helping to develop mitigation strategies. Assist in the evaluation of suppliers & contractors to ensure they meet the organisation’s Quality standards which will include checking, updating, managing files & renewals, annually for relevant records (such as insurances etc). Organise and schedule quality training sessions for employees. Ensure all staff are up to date with their required training through iHASCO training platform and updating our employee training matrix. Qualifications: An understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 Standards. Awareness of LCA (Legionella Control Association) service delivery standards. Experience with auditing. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Willingness to learn and help a culture change through the use of various, continuous improvement methodologies. Working for us means: The salary is between £25,000 & £35,000 per year, depending on your professional experience Holidays - 25 days statutory Probationary Period – 6 months Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice. Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation. Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment. Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
