As HR Business Partner you will have multi-site responsibility, working closely with key stakeholders and senior management to champion HR throughout the business. Travel between the sites will be required each week, therefore you must have a full UK driving license. As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the overall success of the business, and will report directly to the Head of HR. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (some flexibility will be needed on working hours depending on business need) offering a competitive salary, package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader. Job responsibilities of HR Business Partner include: To act as first point of contact for all people related matters To drive improvements in business performance through effective people management solutions. To design, develop and implement (with Line Management engagement) solutions within the HR framework of activity that seek to add value and deliver required business changes in a legally compliant, expedient and cost-effective manner. Provide HR advice to Site Manager and their management teams. Partner Site Manager and act as first point of contact for all people related matters for the Depots. In conjunction with Site Manager, design and deliver effective people plans ensuring all areas of focus are included. Work closely with Site Manager to ensure survey action plans are created and delivered. Work with Site Manager to identify successors at every level of management structure and for key roles on site. Ensure development of individuals identified and delivered in conjunction with L&D team. Support L&D team in delivery of PDPs for all Managers. Ensure under performance is addressed using appropriate policies. Work with Managers to ensure employee issues are resolved quickly and where possible informally. Coach Line Managers to ensure they are competent in tackling ER issues in an appropriate manner. Regularly review trends in ER issues; grievances, disciplinaries, reasons for leaving etc in order to identify potential issues, making recommendations to resolve to Site Manager involving senior members of the HR team as appropriate. Escalate high profile ER cases to Head of HR Ops/Senior HR Business Partner in a timely manner. Work closely with Occupational Health to effectively manage long term sickness cases. Ensure all systems/employee files are up to date with accurate employee detail, including grievance, disciplinary and absence records. Challenge costs within the business to improve productivity. Influence the development of HR policies and processes to ensure they meet the needs of the business. Continuously review the local market place to foresee challenges ahead and address. Support Head of HR Compliance with Tribunal cases with ACAS intervention as appropriate. Qualifications To apply for the role of HR Business Partner you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications: CIPD Qualified, ideally level 5.
