Location: Milton Keynes - 20 minutes drive outside of Milton Keynes
Salary: Circa £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Experience) + circa £3.5k bonus
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends as required)

We are seeking a Venue Manager to join their team near Milton Keynes, Bucks. This is a hands-on role that involves overseeing the full operational and administrative management of 'soft services' in the venue, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintaining strong client relationships.
Venue Manager Role:
As a Services Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and day-to-day management of all venue operations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, oversee compliance and risk management, and lead a team to deliver excellent service standards.
Venue Manager Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the efficient management of venue operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
Plan, schedule, and manage events, ensuring all logistical requirements are met for the soft services that your team are responsible for.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with venue representatives and stakeholders.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance to ensure high service standards.
Ensure all administrative reporting, compliance, and risk management requirements are met.
Oversee stock control of Services venue supplies.
Implement and maintain safe working practices, ensuring health & safety compliance.
Provide regular reports and performance reviews to senior management and clients.

Previous experience in venue, facilities, or event management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent client relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
Good organisational and resource management skills.
Strong financial and budget management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable:
Experience in event operations or contract management.
Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related field.
