Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for technical compliance and design management predominantly at early feasibility and procurement stages, but also with involvement monitoring the on-site Design coordination and managing external consultants. The business is open to considering Design Managers from an Architectural Technician or Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering background.
* Experience as an Assistant Design Manager or Design Coordinator or Design Manager from early planning stages through to project completion.
* Minimum of 2 years' post graduate experience working for a Main Contractor or Architects or Consulting Engineers or Sub-Contractor.
* Knowledge of Construction methodology and Design & Build contracts would be advantageous.
* Previous Roles: Intermediate Design Manager OR Trainee Design Manager OR Technical Manager OR Assistant Design Manager OR Design Manager OR Design Co-ordinator OR Assistant Design & Build Manager.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services or Architecture would be advantageous, or comparable qualification.
