The Vaccination and Screening Team (VaST) is seeking an Operational Support individual to provide programme support to the implementation and development of the Community Pharmacy CoViD Vaccination Sites across the South West.
This postholderwillworkaspartofadynamic teamin delivering an effective servicesupportingmanagers and staff across the South West to support delivery of the Covid-19 Vaccination Programme, specifically supporting the Community Pharmacy delivery model.
The post holder will assist with assuring local preparations; responding to operational enquiries; coordinating the operational response within the SW Region and meeting national reporting requirements for the programme.
The Operational Support will link with national NHSE colleagues on areas concerning the Covid-19 Vaccination programme along with the South West Regional Vaccination and Screening Team (VaST), and link externally to Lead Providers/ NHS Providers, Primary Care Networks, Commissioners, Community Pharmacy providers and other organisations that support delivery in the region.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
Inparticularthepostholderwill:
· Provide high quality project and administrative support, using knowledge and understanding of the programme.
· Support the teamto ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projectsisplanned, managed and delivered effectively.
· Undertake reporting and analysis of information to inform the implementation and evaluation of the programme by providing high quality support including complexinformation and analysis, communications and stakeholder management.
· Ensure accurate and opencommunication andco-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, drafting correspondence andpapers and ensuring themanagement of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis acrossa range of specialties, functions and projects in connection with the Covid-19.
· Ensure the Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) are updated regarding the Community Pharmacy element of the delivery model.
· Be a key member of the teamas well as supporting effective communication and stakeholdermanagement, both internallyandexternally.
· Co-ordination and support of contractor visits in connection with the programme.
· Develop andmaintain excellent communication with Primary Care Contractors.
· Maintain and ensure the correct contractual documentation is in place in with Community Pharmacies engaged in the programme.
· Investigation of complaints.
· Collation of information in response to Freedom of Information requests.
· Develop and maintaining excellent communication with Community Pharmacy Contractors.
· Provide operational support to all Community Pharmacy Providers during the delivery phase of the programme i.e. vaccine supply, site reporting.
