Senior Business Systems Analyst (Hybrid/Remote)
Reporting to the DACHIT-UKI Head of Pre-Sales & Tech Support, this role is responsible for managing locker integrations, technical projects, and associated activities for the Quadient Open Locker network and other technical locker projects for corporate, higher education, retail, residential, or other market segments.
The Senior Project Engineer has the responsibility to manage integration projects across the PSO team in both the DACHIT-UKI and the FR-BNL regions. This will involve managing workload priorities, technical constraints, and assisting team members to complete their projects. To achieve this objective, the Senior Project Engineer will ensure the PSO team has the correct and necessary skills to complete PSO integrations.
The role will require managing delivery deadlines and collecting, collating, and presenting the PSO team KPIs while reporting regular information to the wider PLS team. To ensure the KPIs are met, the role will involve process improvements and making efficiencies to deliver projects within the agreed timescales.
This position is full-time and will be either hybrid (2 days/week in our Stratford, London office) or fully remote for the right candidate.
Your role in our future
1. Ensure Pre-Sales processes are completed for the PSO team.
2. Manage work actions across the PSO team: Pre-Sales, project engineer, and technical project engineer.
3. Manage team KPIs across the PSO team by region, tracked monthly, recording them, and presenting them periodically as required.
4. Manage security requirements both internally and externally to ensure data is safely and securely protected.
5. Assist Pre-Sales in managing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in the bid process and work closely with the Project Engineer team to ensure optimal delivery.
6. Assist in preparation, configuration, and demonstrations of Parcel Locker solutions when required as part of the project.
7. Approve estimates and quotations (where applicable) for client projects including open network.
8. Manage projects to best practice and follow the service delivery life cycle (SDLC).
9. Verify and confirm customer business requirements for using Quadient parcel lockers before submission for development.
10. Write impact assessments for estimate assessment.
11. Collect, interpret, and document the business requirements for the project, translating them into functional requirements for integration specifications.
12. Present impact assessments and integration specifications to clients and obtain a baseline signoff.
13. Provide the link between the customer, development team, and any third-party regarding software functionality during the project lifecycle.
14. Create workstream project plans, manage the delivery of the workstream project, and manage workstream project risks and issues.
15. Oversee Custom Package, SMA, and software management for the FR-BNL Region.
16. Work closely with the Open Network Project Management to ensure successful deliverables are met.
17. Ensure test scripts are prepared, regression, functional acceptance testing, and are enabled for the Technical Support Team.
18. Ensure that UAT testing phase is successfully completed with clients during a project.
19. Conduct operational readiness reviews for each project to ensure a safe transition of the project to BAU.
20. Provide system access to assist in resolving incidents and service requests from the Technical Service Desk.
21. Ensure PSO tasks are covered when required.
22. Manage the PSO project processes to enable fast and effective conversion of customer and new product opportunities to new clients, including Quadient.
23. Ensure the PSO team has sufficient skills and training.
Your profile:
1. Workload management across a team.
2. Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
3. Demonstrable experience capturing and writing requirements and/or specifications for Information Systems.
4. Undergraduate qualification or equivalent.
5. 2 A-Levels or equivalent.
6. A proven track record in Software Development, Cloud technology & Internet applications.
7. End-to-end experience of the software delivery project life cycle (SDLC).
8. Proven experience interacting directly with end users & customers.
9. Results-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Experience with agile development methodologies.
11. Advanced level use of Microsoft Office suite of applications: e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
12. Good working knowledge of Visio, or a similar application to build process flows.
13. Knowledge of Microsoft Project, or a similar application for building Gantt charts.
14. Must be very strong with managing actions, work priorities, and deadlines.
