We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Content Designer to join our Customer & Marketing Team here at Greggs.
In this role, you'll create, design, and build content across digital channels including CRM, digital advertising, the Greggs App, and our consumer website. You'll also collaborate with agency partners to enhance digital design standards and manage guidelines for digital design, illustration, and photography.
Working alongside other content creators, you'll help to elevate our creative standards - act as our internal digital design guardian - and inspire teams and partners with your conceptual and creative thinking. Your passion for the brand and ambition to consistently push boundaries will be key to your success.

About the role
17. This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

19. The base location for this role isNewcastle Upon Tyne. Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do
20. Collaborate with the team to lead the ideation, creation, and execution of digital design assets across various channels
21. Work closely with the CRM team to design and create cross-channel CRM content that aligns with best performance principles and the Greggs brand
22. Design and develop CRM templates and create static and animated assets to enhance engagement, in collaboration with the CRM team and agency partners
23. Work with our content and digital teams to optimise and develop website content to evolve the look and feel of, ensuring we deliver creative, engaging, and informative content
24. Lead the creation of digital assets for delivery partner platforms, enhancing effectiveness and ensuring creative impact
25. Play a key role in the evolution of the Greggs App, ensuring seamless content execution from the UX design process, in collaboration with digital teams and agency partners
26. Manage external production budgets and processes to ensure alignment with creative and performance objectives
27. Inform photography requirements across digital channels, overseeing integrated shoots and digitally led needs
28. Act as a brand guardian for the digital design system, overseeing and developing digital brand guidelines for creative impact and channel performance
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:
29. Have a creative/design-led degree or relevant professional qualification
30. Possess demonstrable experience in a similar role within an agency or client environment.
31. Have core design and prototyping experience
32. Are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a demonstrable experience in the creation of graphic, image editing and vector work
33. Have CRM Design/Email build experience – with experience of working with in platform design tools
34. Have knowledge and experience of after effects packages and the creation of animations and micro interactions
35. Possess effective communication skills across all levels
