Taylor Made Employment are looking to recruit an Multi Skilled engineer to join our well established client based in the Driffield area. Our client produces product for a number of well known suppliers, so the client has a high volume of orders. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. You will be working on a rotating shift pattern- alternating between 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00, 3 days one week and 4 days the next (42 hour average over the 2 week rotation). You must have your own transport to commute to this role as it is not accessible via public transport. Attend and investigate fire/gas alarm activations and faults To commit to improving on their basic skills, in order to achieve the flexibility required to support all best practice maintenance on site. To attend to any breakdowns or emergencies that may arise with a bias to action approach & a ‘100 year fix’ mentality. Proactively manage own time, including prioritization of workload, working without direct supervision and making sound decisions based on the needs of the business. A totally flexible approach, to be available to cover any shift as part of current or any future rotational cover system. This includes weekend work, cover for shortages on shift etc. Contribute and assist in the management of the site CMMS system, including reviews, scheduling and PM content, in order to drive a high quality, low cost department. Experience and Qualifications: Experience in H&S legislation best practice within engineering. · Min 5 years experience in a production maintenance environment with a Multi-skill bias. Experience in Repair, Maintenance, Testing and Installation of equipment. Experience of working on 3 phase Electrical systems up to and including 415v (Electrical bias only) City and Guilds electrical ONC/B-TEC (Or equivalent). · A good level of knowledge, and practical experience in motors, inverters, electro-pneumatics, drives/gearboxes, pumps & seals, conveyor systems, palletisers, services etc. Formal EH&S qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH) (Desirable). PLC control experience to a fault finding level (Desirable) A high level of knowledge, and practical experience in instrumentation loops, calibration techniques & control systems. (Desirable).
