Main duties of the job Deputise for Head of Projects: Represent the Head of Projects in key governance committees and senior management meetings in their absence. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all new buildings and construction projects meet the latest health, safety, and legislation standards, with a focus on net-zero and sustainability requirements. Project Management: Oversee major construction projects, lifecycle works, and departmental moves, often managing multiple projects simultaneously in varying stages of completion. Delivering Schemes & Developments: Manage capital, commercial, lifecycle, and revenue schemes across PFI projects and satellite sites. Ensure projects are delivered to the agreed specifications while optimizing service delivery, cost management, and value for money. Liaison with Technical Stakeholders: Act as the key link between projects and all technical stakeholders to ensure continuity from design through to construction and ongoing operations and maintenance.
