We might have the role for you We are looking for a Regional Electrical Compliance Manager to support our branches in the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. In this role you will be part of a small compliance team in our technical compliance department. About the Role: You will be responsible for the managing all of our electrical activities and to ensure they are all compliant which current regulations and standards and meet the Mears policy standards. You will support all Electrical Supervisors/managers, carrying out Audit's either in person or remote and report on all Electrical investigations. Mears Group nationwide have 30 NICEIC accredited branches and approximately 53 EQS and 400 electricians across both domestic and public buildings sectors. This is a regional role, it will involve travel and overnight stays. Company car, phone and laptop supplied. The key requirements of the role are to be a fully qualified electrician (NICEIC EQS standard to EAS criteria) with a drive and passion to promote electrical safety. Role Criteria: Good all round knowledge of electrical Installations and current regulations and standards. Communication at all levels, good written, verbal and numeracy skills. Good people skills. Ability to work as part of a team or able to work alone. Able to motivate others, good counselling, mentoring and coaching skills. Auditing and assessing others for electrical competence and compliance Able to work to agreed targets. Good time management skills Maintain CPD and Electrical Qualifying Supervisor status. A full current Driving License Essential Qualifications Must meet current Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS) as required by the NICEIC for Electrical Qualified Supervisors. Full base (craft) qualifications in electrical installation levels 2 and 3 equivalent, NVQ3 and AM2. An inspection & testing qualification for both initial verification and condition reporting to level 3 An 18th edition qualification.
