Covering South UK, this role comes with a car or car allowance, and you will be required to undertake a standard DBS.
Following bespoke solution designs, the Deployment Services team is responsible for the onsite deployment of telecoms and IT devices, including items such as telephone handsets and headsets.
Reporting to the Telecoms Manager, the deployment team will be required to support the setup and full implementation of the approved solution to maintain consistency throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation of telecoms hardware devices on customer sites, including but not limited to:
* Setup, configuration & installation of cloud telephony
* Networking
* Surveys
* Testing
* Troubleshooting of SIP handsets and networking
1. Support the project team and sales in day-to-day duties as required to achieve project deployment targets.
2. Confidence to tackle problems and help people solve technical issues.
3. Implement projects in a timely and professional manner.
4. Confidently converse with customers via phone, video conference, or on-site meetings to scope technical elements of a project.
5. Review and manage applicable project documentation.
6. Carry out installation, testing, and training to ensure a smooth deployment so the solution can be signed off by the client.
7. Identify and progress additional sales opportunities relating to a project and other offerings.
8. Willingness to travel throughout the UK, which may result in spending time away from home when applicable.
9. Liaise with third parties, i.e., service providers and IT companies, to assist in project completion and troubleshooting.
