Job Overview:
At USP College, all learners are allocated a Progress Coach who will play a key role in helping learners get the most out of their studies, providing support and encouragement during their learning experience. The successful candidate will act as a key link between all aspects of the curriculum and Student Support Services. You will working with learners and teachers to ensure that the curriculum is holistic, personalised and learners are fully supported to achieve their goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Project Workshops facilitate core project workshops tailored to learners' goals and training requirements.
2. Progress Monitoring track and review individual study programs and progress cycles.
3. Learning Plans and coordinate individual learning plans and routes for students.
4. Support learners in reflecting on their progress and setting personalised targets
5. Work with the Well-being Team to monitor attendance and support intervention strategies.
6. Leverage a variety of activities, courses, and organisations to provide additional student support.
7. Assist in delivering careers information and promoting the Work Experience program.
8. Compile UCAS references for students progressing to Higher Education or employment.
9. Provide energetic, flexible support to help students overcome learning barriers.
10. Parent/Carer Liaison build relationships with parents/carers to keep them informed of student progress.
Job Requirements:
11. A Level qualification
12. Proficiency in computer skills, such as Word and PowerPoint
13. Understanding of inclusion, safeguarding, and development of skills
14. Knowledge of student support systems and related national legislation
