The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team have an exciting new opportunity for a In Work Support Advisor to deliver first class in work support to participants on the Restart Scheme who have secured employment, checking in regularly on a caseload of in-work participants providing a range of advice and guidance interventions to ensure progression into sustained employment. Within the Restart Scheme, you will be part of a government initiative that provides personalised support for up to 12 months to help people find a job in their local area and help overcome any challenges that might be standing in the way of employment.
We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment.
Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health, and debt.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contacting participants at set intervals to provide ongoing employment support and guidance.
* Highlight customers who may be at risk of falling out of employment.
* Working alongside Employment Advisors to feedback any “at risk” participants.
* From point of job start each participant requires an in-work support call weekly or monthly until l they achieve outcome stage.
* Providing a service to ensure participants are happy in work and there are no issues.
* Supporting participants over the telephone with any questions they may have regarding work or addressing and helping to resolve any issues participants may face whilst in work.
* To contact employers with participant permission to support with any employment issues if needed.
* To ensure all calls and contact is recorded are genuine and meet the companies and contracts policies and procedures.
* Establish and deliver both one to one and group activities as part of customer interventions including initial assessments, inductions, job search sessions, failed to attend sessions with customers.

Skills Required:
* Must have excellent telephone manner, good organisational skills, and excellent IT skills.
* Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and work to challenging targets and key performance indicators.
* To be able to obtain information and record information accurately with high level of attention to detail.
* Well-developed IT skills, including MI systems, spreadsheets and diary management, email, data security.
* Flexible hybrid approach to work with some unsociable hours on a rota basis.
* Able to work to Key performance indicators and challenging targets.
* Excellent knowledge of the local labour market, methods of recruitment and awareness of growth industries.
* Good knowledge of welfare to work and the customer base.
