Description Grade 4 £ £33,366 - £ £40,476 Permanent Working 36.5 Hrs per week There is an opportunity for an experienced Contract Works Officer to join the Asset Management and Maintenance teams to assist in the Service Delivery of the Capital Investment program contract, for the investment in housing stock of Birmingham City Council. You will assist the Capital Investments Team, in the monitoring of budgets and the management of programme and maintenance works. You will have excellent communication skills in response to complaints, investigations and enquiries, as you will be responsible for regularly assessing the ongoing requirements of housing tenants and customers. You will have responsibility to ensure the housing stock and all works undertaken are in accordance with Health & Safety and Building Regulations, Building Control and Safety Standards / Risk Assessments, and ensure Construction Design & Managements (CDMs) are achieved and maintained. You will be experienced in inspecting and diagnosing building defects to both low and high rise tower blocks and ordering remedial works to be carried out by our nominated contractor.
