Your new role
1. To provide and maintain an efficient and effective procurement service within the organisation. To deliver and support the department and the wider business in plant hire and the provision of site set up and prelim orders whilst driving continuous improvement to deliver a competitive advantage.
2. Carry out all aspects of the procurement process in accordance with organisational Procurement and Supply Chain Management Strategy, under guidance and supervision in relation to the following:
3. Administration and preparation of request for proposals and quotations utilising suppliers from the appropriate company Approved Suppliers Database
4. Compilation of data relating to supplier responses, highlighting inconsistencies and differences, presenting information and responses in a manor to enable evaluation.
5. Entry of appropriate data and information into all procurement systems as required.
6. Raise Purchase Orders for Materials and Plant Hire requirements in line with company policies and procedure within an ERP system.
7. Liaise with sites to assist with the resolution of supply issues as and when required.
