We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join us in Bradford, on a 8-month fixed-term contract (FTC) basis. This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote. As part of the continued growth at Liberty Shared Services (LSS), as we go through an exciting period of expansion and change, we are looking for a People Services Advisor to deliver an efficient and accurate HR and pay administration service to employees and line managers for all activities associated with the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, reward, benefits, payroll and pensions. In this tier one People Services Advisor role, you will provide timely and relevant information and advice, when requested, to employees, managers and external parties, within agreed parameters to maximise customer efficiency, effectiveness and confidence, whilst complying with all statutory requirements. What will you be doing? You will administer HR and pay administration activities associated with the employee lifecycle, across all business areas within agreed procedures, standards and timescales, complying with all statutory requirements. Providing consistent HR and pay advice, you will support and resolution to managers, employees and external parties, within agreed parameters in order to maximise customer efficiency, effectiveness and confidence. You will ensure the correct escalation of queries or cases to the Specialist teams or Subject Matter Experts, whilst maintaining team and customer relationships through advice, support and continuous improvement - providing a great experience first time and every time. Promoting the culture where line managers are aware of and own issues within the business, you will also support the development and implementation of the appropriate policies, and framework to address issues. We tend to look for people with: Proven People Services Advisor, or similar, ideally with a minimum L3 CIPD qualification and in a shared services, contact centre or large corporate environment. An understanding of the HR employee lifecycle and an interest in understanding employment law, its application, and best practices. Strong email communication skills, delivering advice guidance, managing challenging conversations, and working with senior stakeholders. Experience in providing relevant advice on policy and process to line managers and employees, whilst constructively challenging and with competing priorities. Able to fully utilise standard Microsoft Office products and the application of Oracle Service Cloud, Workday, other HR systems and workflow/case management. What’s in it for you?
