F9 Consulting Ltd is looking for a talented and motivated Semi Senior Accountant to join our expanding team. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will assist in managing client accounts, preparing financial documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will have the opportunity to develop your accounting skills while working closely with Senior Accountants and clients across various sectors. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and monthly management accounts.
* Support Senior Accountants in managing client relationships and understanding their financial needs.
* Perform bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate records for various clients.
* Contribute to audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
* Help ensure clients meet their regulatory obligations, including VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
* File CIS returns monthly for construction clients.
* Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your accounting knowledge and skills.
* Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in accounting practices and processes.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ongoing ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a professional services environment.
* Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to solving problems.
* Effective communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a busy work environment.
* A proactive attitude towards learning and development, with a keen interest in advancing your career in accounting.
