We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team at Walsall Hospital.
You will manage and deliver Capital, life cycle and small works projects from inception to completion including income generation work. To collaboratively work with Stakeholders as part of the integrated project team including adherence and compliance with both Skanska and the clients systems of work.
What you'll do:
* Work with the team to ensure all Trust Variation Enquiries are completed and returned within the Performance Management System time scales.
* Manage all project work, life cycle and assist small works including design, tender process, arrange for the ordering of materials and plant, resource planning and implementation of direct labour or contract labour.
* Liaise with package managers and authorised persons in preparation and implementation of safe systems of work/permit to work systems.
* Compile O&M information and in conjunction with package managers ensure maintenance routines are created/amended to reflect equipment replacement or installations.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, with examples of targets reached and how, involved in quality procedures.
* Knowledge of hospital building services would be a distinct advantage.
* Good understanding and working knowledge of several software packages including Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio and experienced in use of CAFM systems and Asset Database systems.
* AutoCAD and TruView experience, ability to update existing drawings with new O&M information in conjunction with appointed Contractor and Designers.
* Proven experience of leadership and management of a diverse range of supply chain contractors providing direction and support to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and budget.
* Robust, measurable knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015) is a mandate, including fulfilment of Principal Contractor roles and the ability to successfully deliver the requirements of the new legislation.
* Excellent communication skills, client facing and internal relationships.
* Experience of delivering multiple complex projects with values from £1000 - £1 million.
* A good understanding of PFI contracts and funding.
