Business Development Manager - MIdlands Terrotory Location: Midlands (Welsh border to East Anglia / Staffordshire to Gloucestershire) The Ideal Person This role is perfect for someone with a blend of technical sales acumen and engineering expertise, ideally with a minimum of 5 years experience in the suspension and bracing, HVAC, electrical installation, or construction markets. Salary: £40-50k basic plus Company Vehicle and Generous Commission Scheme The Role In this role you will have a blend of Business Development and Key Account management responsibility, with the bias on Business Development. You will cover the midlands regions, working to grow an already established business. By using your industry knowledge and experience in the suspension and bracing, HVAC, electrical installation, or construction markets, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and expanding market presence. With a competitive basic salary of £40-50k, complemented by a generous commission structure, your earning potential is substantial. Key Responsibilities Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the existing suspension and bracing, HVAC, electrical installation, or construction markets. Identify opportunities to penetrate new or adjacent markets with the comprehensive product range. Act as the “Voice of the Customer” by feeding back market intelligence to the business with ideas for new products development Build strong relationships with new and existing clients Utilize technical sales knowledge and market experience to understand and communicate product feature and benefits Contribute to the company’s market expansion strategies Work collaboratively with the rest of the sales team and wider business, to act with integrity and professionalism with colleagues and customers. Ideal Qualifications and Experience: 5 years knowledge of suspension and bracing, HVAC, electrical installation, or construction markets sectors Ability to demonstrate product features and benefits (training will be provided) Existing B2B sales experience within a technical / construction environment Ability to speak with decision makers, main contractors, architects, engineers, Procurement Teams, Channel Partners and installers, whilst building trust and long term relationships at same time KAM skills and experience Proficient experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint & Teams Proven track record of achieving sales targets
