This is a part time opportunity working 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, you’ll be responsible for providing health & safety advice and managing our quality, environmental and safety management systems. If you hold an IOSH managing safely qualification (or are working towards obtaining this) and are looking for an exciting new part time job in the Worksop area, we would love to hear from you. You’ll be trusted to conduct & manage site and external audits as well as administer Health & Safety & Compliance training through decent and reliable systems/methods of working. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety To ensure compliance with HSE legislation. To understand and interpret existing and new legislation. To communicate with external HSE advisors. Support with the design and delivery of HSE training, toolbox talks and safety briefings. Ensuring appropriate user access to the TPA SHEQ management system. To support, and manage when required, accident investigation, reporting and prevention measures. Report monthly all H&S, environmental and quality information to the Senior Health & Safety and Compliance Coordinator. Complete safety audits in depots and at site. Ensure internal processes and procedures are implemented and followed within the business. Asset Management To support, and manage when required, the quality process ensuring equipment is safe for hire. Manage all legislative issues, ensuring equipment complies to correct standards. Customer Care / Service Be the contact for any customer requirements on HSE and legislation. Complete and manage all customer HSE questionnaires. Supplier and contractor management to ensure compliance with Company procedures. Support, and manage when required, the customer complaints procedure. Accreditations To support in the management of all professional accreditations; including ISO accreditations, RISQS, UVDB and online accreditations. Manage costs for any improvements, producing a proposal for approval. What We’re Looking For IOSH managing safely qualification, or working towards obtaining this. NEBOSH general certificate desirable. Confident in using Excel. Full UK driving licence. Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality auditing experience. Intermediate IT skills, confident in using different programmes and platforms. Experience in a similar role. Experience in carrying out risk assessments. Ability to identify and access legislative publications.
