A new role, working with leading, premium retail customers. Developing creative packaging that wows their consumers.
In this newly created role, you’ll be creating effective, sustainable packaging that showcases high quality products on the supermarket shelves.
As it’s a new role, you’ll have the chance to make it your own and make a real impact. You’ll be joining a close-knit team where there is such a clear pride and passion for the high quality products they create. This has led to them having an impressive range of customers across retail, foodservice, and international channels.
This demand has led to the need for a dedicated role to develop new packaging and take products to launch for retail customers. You’ll be working closely with the Sourcing and Technical team alongside the Packaging buyer to source and develop new packaging formats.
You’ll need to ensure packaging meets customers’ requirements, has the right quality and technical standards, performs in the factory, and looks fantastic. There’s a big focus on sustainable packaging materials and reducing environmental impact, whilst providing customers with eye-catching packaging with a premium feel.
You’ll have a real interest in Packaging and New Product Development along with a keen eye for new trends. Creative and highly organised you’ll be confident presenting to customers and building strong relationships with customer, supplier and internal teams.
The role is mainly site-based with some flexibility to work from home. You’ll be involved in visiting supplier and customers with colleagues and supporting trials on the factory floor.
