Permanent, full time/37.5 hours per week (would consider 4 days/30 hours per week)
Salary: £53,755 per annum (full time)/£43,004 (part time)
Location: office-based in Hexham, Northumberland with the potential of some home/hybrid working
About Us
Tynedale Hospice at Home is a well-established charity of over 30 years. Our services include home-based end of life nursing care, patient transport, complementary therapies and bereavement support. All of our services are provided free of charge. As a charity, we receive less than 4% statutory funding and rely on the generosity of our community and the effectiveness of our income generation activities to operate.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated individual to join our leadership team as Head of Income Generation. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in generating the essential income required to sustain and grow a valued local charity that makes a significant difference to the lives of our service users and their families.
Job Purpose:
* To be operationally responsible for the Income Generation Department including Fundraising, Retail and Volunteering.
* To provide operational and strategic leadership to sustainably develop and grow the Hospice’s income generation activities including fundraising and retail operations.
* To develop Comms & Marketing activities, ensuring that the Hospice is effectively promoted and fully benefiting from the support of the local community.
* To develop the Hospice’s volunteer workforce to support the delivery of its strategy.
* To identify and develop new income streams to support the sustainable growth of the Hospice.
* To act as a role model as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), living the Hospice values and promoting a continuous improvement culture.
