Provides technical support and extended role clinical duties on wards and in the pharmacy relating to optimal use of medicines. Area of work will be determined by service needs and the post holder will need to be proficient to work in all areas.
The role involves supply of medicines via various routes supporting assessment of patients’ medicines needs and resolution of physical and clinical issues relating to medicines.
Post holders are required to have relevant GPhC accreditation (NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services) or equivalent.
