What you’ll be doing
1. Completion of portable appliance tests (PAT) Access Equipment and field manager checks. GDU Calibration & lifting equipment inspections of field equipment appropriate to ‘competent persons’ as defined in national lifting regulations & legislation & BT instructions
2. To meet agreed customer appointments with a view to completing all tests & inspections at one appointment
3. Updating computer records via the Esi Test system
4. Servicing, minor repair & maintenance of mechanical aids
5. Maintaining contact with the test and repair helpdesk’s
6. To ensure that the mobile vehicle is completely equipped and with a full inventory to complete the days tasks
7. To perform their duties in compliance with all EC, BT regulations & testing and repair handbook
8. To perform detached duties at remote locations when necessary
What are we looking for in our Mobile Tester? You may have a variety of the below;
9. Competent in PC and system usage
10. Strong communication skills and time management
11. A willingness to learn as BT will provide all the training and qualifications you need to succeed in this role
12. Hold a UK Driving License
