Role Description:
Our New Mobility solution changes the way we move people and goods by land and air to deliver outcomes that are environmentally, socially and economically sustainable. Our portfolio includes strategy, business case, planning, design and implementation of projects across Mobility on Demand (mobility hubs, Mobility as a Service, autonomous vehicles etc); E-Mobility (electric and alternatively fuelled vehicles etc); Sustainable and Active Mobility (travel demand management, sustainable travel etc); and Airport Hubs (advanced air mobility, airport e-mobility etc).
The New Mobility Technical Director will support the building of the Arcadis brand in the New Mobility space, win and deliver high quality work, achieving high levels of client satisfaction and support the development of the capability and capacity required to meet market needs. The role includes a stretch target of 5X organic growth of New Mobility over the next five years and is based in the UK.
Key Accountabilities
Service delivery - Create an environment for consistent high-quality service; evolve usage of international excellence centres, digitised and standardised service delivery in order to enable better commercial performance across projects; manage projects and key accounts
Growth - Create the market for, bid and win new work and repeat business; support the development of bid and marketing collateral; be a market facing lead for New Mobility and build strong client relationships; support the creation of brand recognition for Arcadis in the New Mobility space
Capability Development - Identify long-term requirements for skills and capabilities for New Mobility and play an active role in ensuring learning and development and recruitment is delivered to build capability that meets long term client

Qualifications & Experience
6. Leadership - Experience in leading a rapidly growing business function within a multinational engineering or professional services firm. Demonstrated ability to inspire geographically dispersed teams around a common vision, objectives, processes, procedures, systems, and tools
7. Track record - A proven track record of high-quality technology enabled service delivery and brand building in the New Mobility space that has led to a strong and well recognized personal brand in the UK&I New Mobility market. Proven experience in delivering major projects for clients in the New Mobility area that demonstrate commercial drive and decisiveness
8. Personal attributes - A high level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility. A pragmatic attitude and the ability to deal with uncertainty and change. Strong observation and persuasion skills. The ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner. Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task and make decisions around competing priorities
