We’re a dedicated B2B marketing communications agency. We deliver brilliant campaigns for clients, whether that’s content strategy and development, media relations, social media, earned media, influencer relations, or digital communication programmes. While our clients sit across a variety of industries, one thing connects them all: a need to build brilliant relationships in the B2B sector. That’s where we come in.
We are looking for an Account Director to manage and oversee a range of clients to ensure that campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and that objectives/targets/KPIs are met and exceeded. You will create, direct, and lead PR programmes, utilising all communication channels, from earned and paid media through to web, social, digital, and direct. We need someone who can adapt and re-direct these as required – either by adjusting client objectives, deliverables, or activity or with the introduction of a new service partner.
As a people-first business, you will need to manage and inspire a client-facing team with strong leadership skills that motivate the team to be better and do better.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Senior contact for client accounts. You’ll be the go-to for all client communications, whether that’s strategic advice, a discussion on measurement, or pitching a new creative idea.
* Managing client servicing, achieving exceptional outcomes for current clients, and managing an extended portfolio ensuring consistency of service is delivered in line with company policy.
* Overseeing PR campaigns from creative brief to implementation and delivery, hitting targets and achieving the best results for the client.
* New business engagement, creating and presenting new business proposals, while also identifying and nurturing opportunities to expand existing client accounts.
* Growing a wide network and nurturing key contacts.
* Championing the agency values and brand.
* Working with the client team to get stuck in and deliver against plans.
* Line management, performance reviews, and appraisals.
* Nurturing talent, providing career counsel, and professional development through coaching, mentoring, and training.

* Advanced B2B PR experience – planning, execution, and measurement.
* A drive for business success, seeking out opportunities and acting on them.

* Able to analyse insights and variables to create a strategic approach that will deliver client and business goals.

* Insight of client’s account and activity with a view to understanding potential issues or challenges, as well as opportunities and the ability to deliver.
* Able to communicate accessibly and inclusively with the team and external stakeholders.
* Is able to understand Skout's financial KPIs and improve profitability and growth.
* Has a long-term view of work, objectives, and KPIs, with the ability to identify, plan, and implement continuous improvements.
* Media strategy and understanding. Expertise at targeting a range of media and the ability to adapt approach where necessary.
* Excellent project management skills with strong organisational and planning skills.
* Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* Solid content experience – planning, execution, and measurement.
* A skilled communicator who can foster a sense of purpose and commitment in all aspects of the role.
* Leadership skills that motivate and inspire others to perform to their best.
