Programme Director
Excellent opportunity to join one of the leading Consultancies in Europe in leading a recently awarded £1 billion PMO programme.
Location: London / Bristol
Salary: £200,000 - £240,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Bonus
Working Model: Hybrid working with 3 days on-site in the client's office and 2 days from home.
Role Description
The Resolute Group has been retained by a Tier 1 consultancy to identify and secure a Programme Director to take the lead on a £1bn+ improvement programme. This includes strategy delivery of the PMO and controlling various construction and infrastructure projects over a 10-year period.
As the Programme Director, you will be responsible for creating and managing the master programme, overseeing the 10-year delivery programme, and collaborating with the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Oversight: Overseeing the portfolio at a strategic level, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
2. Performance Management: Monitoring and driving performance across the portfolio, focusing on key metrics like cost, time, and quality.
3. Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the portfolio's success.
4. Stakeholder Management: Effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
5. Change Management: Leading and managing change initiatives within the portfolio.
Due to the nature of the programme, you need to be on-site 3 days a week as part of the client's team. Lodgings can be provided, but you need to build that into your work-life balance.
Qualifications / Experience
1. Degree - Minimum requirement in Quantity Surveying or Construction-based subject.
2. Major project experience - Leading on a major project as a minimum, ideally over a portfolio of projects or framework lead.
3. This is NOT a hands-on delivery role; you need to be in a strategic position, ideally working for a consultancy.
4. Flexible to lodge away if required to meet the client's expectations for visibility on site.
PLEASE NOTE:
You must be eligible to work in the UK (British passport or indefinite leave to remain) and have UK experience. We welcome people returning to the UK for international projects.
