Health and Safety / Environment / Quality Graduate
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Operations team to gain a deep understanding of Exsel Pumps' services and how they meet client needs.
Together with the Senior team, you will establish a strong health and safety culture that is industry-leading.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Support development of long-term health and safety plans, including budgeting and resource allocation.
* Work across multiple locations and business entities, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of safety initiatives. Work collaboratively with teams to ensure adequate compliance across the business.
* Support the development of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility for any H&S initiatives.
* Profile the current and potential health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace, participating in corporate-level risk assessments. This will mean developing and approving controls for identified hazards.
* Create, circulate, implement, and review health and safety policies, practices, and procedures.
* Liaise with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, insurers, and auditors.
This role offers exposure to the broader operational aspects of the business, with opportunities to participate in role rotations. These rotations will deepen your industry knowledge, enhance your understanding of Exsel Pumps' operations, and develop your knowledge.
As part of your journey, you will be supported by a Graduate Development Programme provided by Discovery. This programme will help you grow both personally and professionally through experiential learning, access to accredited qualifications via the Institute of Leadership and Management, and guidance from an experienced coach.
To support your professional development you will have access to training towards NEBOSH, Occupational Health and Safety, ISO accreditations.
