Then this might be your chance to become a part of our Financial Accounting and Control team In this role you will assist the Finance Department by managing the costing and inventory reporting for the global business through performing a varied range of activities as summarised below, and co-ordinate the activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting of result. What You'll Be Doing Maintenance of standard cost prices in multiple companies and plants (about 40 plants) Running periodic standard costing runs Running individual costing runs for new materials; reviewing cost for manufactured materials and purchased materials Maintaining purchase information records (PIR) for intercompany materials which is used for transfer pricing Performing actual costing run as part of month end process Analysis of revaluations and variances (standard vs actual costing) Work In Progress calculations and analysis as part of month end process Intercompany profit in stock elimination calculations, analysis and postings Stock provision calculations, analysis and postings Ensuring that stock valuations and provision calculations adhere to Spectris group policy Working with Operations (BOM/Routing) and Purchasing (PIR for third party suppliers) Collaboration with the Pricing Officer to validate data used in the Global Pricing System and S4HANA Working with the Finance Business Partner for Operations and Local Financial Accountants/Controllers Monitor global stock counts, ensuring counts completed in line with schedules and transacted appropriately Inventory analysis, investigation, and correction as necessary Review and update internal procedures and best practice guides, as well as hands-on business support Identify and implement lean activities to streamline and simplify processes Provide support for internal and external audit About you: A proactive mindset to deliver results CIMA / ACCA (or similar) qualified (part qualified considered) A desire to improve processes, learn new skills and information, and grow in an expanding role Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills, and ability to understand and interrogate data Ability to self-manage and prioritise work, but also to engage with others Proven commitment to achieving deadlines SAP S4HANA & BI knowledge are desirable Experience/understanding of inventory management and costing principals Why Join Us?
