As an Area Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving success across multiple store locations, ensuring operational excellence, and inspiring your team to achieve and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Excellence:
o Ensure all stores consistently adhere to brand standards.
o Collaborate with HR and Store Managers to manage recruitment and staffing.
o Oversee staff training and progression through the company’s training platforms.
o Maintain effective communication with Line Managers and Head Office to ensure smooth store operations.
* Performance Management:
o Monitor and achieve key performance metrics, including sales, cost controls, and labor allocation.
o Analyse and optimise stock levels, manage wastage, and ensure excellent stock presentation.
o Implement action plans to improve customer satisfaction and overall performance.
* Leadership and Development:
o Provide leadership, motivation, and support to Store Managers and team members.
o Address HR-related tasks, such as performance reviews, probationary reviews, and disciplinary actions, with the support of HR.
o Encourage learning and development opportunities for team growth and progression.
* Auditing and Compliance:
o Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety standards.
o Conduct regular audits, including financial, compliance, and brand standards, ensuring stores remain audit-ready.
o Maintain security and integrity of cash, stock, premises, and personnel.
* Continued Professional Development:
o Attend required training, workshops, and webinars to stay updated on company policies, industry standards, and legislation.
o Take responsibility for personal growth and development to lead by example.
