* Civil Infrastructure: Bridges, footbridges, earthworks, and embankments.

With a strong track record in Civils Asset Management (CAM), Renewals Enhancement Framework (REF), and Slabtrack frameworks, we thrive on delivering exceptional results across Scotland’s rail network.
Your Role as Pre-Contracts Manager
Take the helm as a leader in bid management activities across the Scotland region. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing major contracts and driving innovation in work-winning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the pre-contract team and associated bid management activities, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
* Oversee prequalification documentation and tender appraisals.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analysing post-tender feedback and implementing lessons learned.
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary bid teams and mentor authors to produce compelling, client-focused submissions.
* Develop and implement streamlined submission processes to optimise efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
* A proven track record in pre-contract/pre-construction management within rail or civil engineering sectors (Tier 1 or 2).
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire collaborative teamwork.
* A deep understanding of multi-disciplinary rail projects and civil engineering markets.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
