A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for an EHS Manager / HSE Manager to assume responsibility for health & safety, environmental management, and sustainability strategies for a 200 site. You will drive a culture of safety, ensure compliance with regulations, and implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve site security. Driving employee engagement is a key objective. EHS Manager / HSE Manager responsibilities include Lead the HSE agenda on-site, ensuring all standards and regulations are met and exceeded. Act as the go-to expert for all health, safety, and environmental matters, providing technical and legislative guidance. Develop and implement site-wide HSE policies, ensuring alignment with UK and Group strategies. Oversee incident investigation processes, ensuring proper root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented. Conduct internal audits, maintain compliance with BRC and other regulatory requirements. Develop training and coaching initiatives to enhance HSE knowledge and compliance across all levels. Engage with regulatory bodies (EA, HSE, auditors, customers, and local authorities) to ensure best-in-class compliance. You will be an EHS Manager / HSE Manager used to working in a manufacturing environment. Food / Packaging / Heavy equipment experience will be deemed advantageous.
