Our customer, a leading vacation retail company, is looking to hire a commercial lawyer with at least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, for a contract role. Experience can be gained from either private practice or in-house legal, ideally with both regulatory and customer experience. This is a fast-moving environment, working on a variety of complex legal matters. You will be working in a team of qualified lawyers, initially remotely, and then in one of the customer’s many offices.
This could be a fantastic opportunity for you if you have:
* Ability to proactively identify relevant business and legal issues
* Experience with the Online Safety Act, particularly in relation to compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks impacting digital services
* Ability to apply the law to novel situations and demonstrate the ability to find pragmatic and creative solutions to business issues where appropriate
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to assimilate information quickly
* A strong solution focus and an aptitude for working effectively on international cross-functional teams and projects
* 3-5 years PQE
* Online Safety/Consumer Protection knowledge, some exposure to tourism, health and safety. Post Brexit exposure.
* Proactive, autonomous, flexible, agile, practical, strong relationship management
Professional Qualifications:
* Experience with a major law firm and/or in-house legal team
* UK / Common Law qualified
